Your first stop is the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, as well as the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. After an exhilarating morning at Giza, we’ll pause to enjoy a delicious Egyptian lunch at a nearby restaurant, where you can savour classic dishes such as kofta, grilled meats, and fresh salads—a true taste of Egypt’s rich culinary heritage. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, Cairo’s historic centre. Inside this museum, one of the world’s most important collections of ancient artefacts awaits. Your guide will lead you through highlights such as the treasures of King Tutankhamun, his intricate golden mask, and countless other items that reveal the daily life, artistry, and beliefs of ancient Egypt. The museum houses an astonishing array of mummies, statues, jewellery, and relics that span thousands of years, offering a window into Egypt’s storied past. As the afternoon light begins to wane, we’ll take a quick walk through Tahrir Square, where Egypt’s modern history has been shaped, giving you a chance to witness the energy of Cairo’s bustling centre. Finally, we’ll return to our hotel, reflecting on a day filled with wonder, adventure, and unforgettable memories of Cairo's timeless treasures.
